The Sydney band have climbed from the top 30 to the No. 1 spot, with a fresh triple j endorsement arriving this week.
Stand Atlantic have landed their first No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with their fifth studio album, GODBREATH. The result follows three increasingly high-charting albums.
Their climb has been steady. Pink Elephant reached No. 23 in 2020, while F.E.A.R. hit No. 10 in 2022. Then Was Here took them to No. 3 in 2024. This time, they’ve gone all the way.
ARIA announced the result on Friday 30 October for the chart week of 2 November. GODBREATH also debuts atop the Australian Albums Chart and at No. 3 on the Vinyl Albums Chart.
“Only gone n bloody done it.. GODBREATH is the #1 Album in Australia!!” the band said in a statement shared by ARIA.
ARIA chief executive Annabelle Herd described the result as the fourth Australian No. 1 album of 2026.
Stand Atlantic released GODBREATH on 23 October. They announced the album in July alongside the single ‘LUCID’, as BLUNT reported at the time.
The record’s Australian run now has another boost. triple j named GODBREATH its feature album on Monday 2 November, putting it into the spotlight for another week.
