The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza Set Date For Second Comeback Single

‘Nothing_Can_Stop_What_Is_Coming’ arrives digitally on October 28, following a SiriusXM premiere on October 27.

The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza have announced their second comeback single, ‘Nothing_Can_Stop_What_Is_Coming’, as work towards their first album since 2012 continues.

The track will premiere on SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal with Shawn the Butcher on October 27 before reaching streaming services on October 28.

In their official announcement, the band identified the song as part of their forthcoming fifth album, referring to the project as Danza5. An album release date has not been announced.

It follows ‘Say When’, which ended their long recording silence earlier this year. With another song now scheduled, the return is moving beyond the reunion announcement and into a new body of work.

There is already something to get stuck into while the next single approaches. The official ‘Say When’ video, released in March, credits Joshua Travis, Layne Meylain and Jessie Freeland as writers.

Travis also produced that recording, with Nick Scott handling mixing and mastering. Those credits give a clearer picture of the collaboration behind the comeback than treating it solely as another Travis project.

The guitarist’s work outside the band has nevertheless kept the connection in view. BLUNT covered his departure from Emmure earlier this year, including his continued involvement with The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza.

The forthcoming album will be their first full-length since 2012, a substantial gap even by the standards of a band whose listeners are accustomed to keeping track of complicated things.

For now, October 28 is the confirmed digital release date to mark. But for full album details, fans will just have to wait.
