Thrown Announce Massive Australian Headline Tour With Boundaries, 156/Silence And Volatile Ways

Thrown are heading straight back into Australian venues, announcing their biggest local headline tour yet for February with Boundaries, 156/Silence and Volatile Ways joining them for the ride.

Presented by Destroy All Lines, the seven date run follows thrown‘s completely sold-out Australian headline tour last February, two years later, the Swedish metalcore wrecking crew will return with a stacked bill and stops across Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.

Since emerging from Stockholm, Thrown have gone from one of heavy music’s nastier new prospects to a band pulling more than one million monthly Spotify listeners, tours alongside Knocked Loose, Counterparts, Fit For A King, While She Sleeps and Wage War have helped accelerate that rise.

They’re not arriving empty handed either. Thrown recently released ‘critic’ through Arising Empire, another blunt force collision of grooves and breakdowns aimed at online tastemakers, performative outrage and the endless churn of internet commentary.

Boundaries And 156/Silence Join The Damage

Connecticut metalcore outfit Boundaries return after recently supporting The Plot In You on their sold out Australian tour, this time they’ll arrive behind new album ‘Yearning: the unbeautiful after’, produced by Drew Fulk and featuring appearances from The Plot In You’s Landon Tewers and Make Them Suffer.

For 156/Silence, however, this will be their first Australian visit.

The Pittsburgh outfit will have fresh material to unleash following the September 4th release of sixth album ‘From A Distance’ through Pure Noise Records.

Newcastle’s Volatile Ways complete the package, their collision of deathcore and hardcore has already put them on Australian stages alongside The Acacia Strain, Fit For An Autopsy, Bodysnatcher, Kublai Khan, Dying Wish, Speed and Thrown themselves.

Considering Thrown sold every ticket on their last headline run, waiting around probably isn’t the move here.
