Yellowcard Bring ‘Ocean Avenue’ 20th Anniversary Tour to Australia in 2025

Share

American rock band Yellowcard are finally returning to Australia with their Ocean Avenue 20th anniversary tour. Joining them on the road are nostalgic rock bands, Motion City Soundtrack and Plain White T’s.

Released in 2003, Ocean Avenue completely changed Yellowcard’s prospects. The album has since sold over 1.8 million copies in the U.S., earned double platinum certification, and has amassed more than a billion streams. Tracks like ‘Way Away,’ ‘Only One,’ and the title track became have also become anthems among generations, passed down like a family heirloom.

The tour will see Yellowcard performing Ocean Avenue in its entirety for fans. This marks their first Australian shows since 2017. “We’ve wanted to bring this tour to Australia for a long time,” the band shared. “This lineup is incredible, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone.”

The six-date run kicks off on April 2 in Perth before heading to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, and Brisbane. Fans across the country will finally get the chance to relive one of pop-punk’s most influential albums live on stage.

Motion City Soundtrack’s return after nearly a decade. Known for their hits, like ‘Everything Is Alright’ and ‘The Future Freaks Me Out,’ the band add yet another layer of nostalgia to an already stacked lineup.

Plain White T’s also haven’t been on Aussie shores since Soundwave 2008. They bring their own classics, including the global hit ‘Hey There Delilah’, which, in my opinion, is the perfect car- ride song.

If I were you I’d book tickets to this one fast. The level of nostalgia this show offers is quite literally bursting at the seams and it will likely sell out. All the information you need is below.
