The legendary Red Hot Summer Tour has just dropped its Series 2 lineup for 2025, headlined by none other than the bearded rock icons ZZ Top.
Joining them for the series are a blistering mix of rock and blues heavyweights, including George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Australian punk-rock legends The Living End, and a powerhouse lineup of local favourites Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo, and Dallas Frasca.
ZZ Top’s addition to the tour marks a major moment for fans, with the Texas trio returning to Australia after years of keeping their legacy alive post-Dusty Hill’s passing. Now with Elwood Francis stepping into bass duties, the band remains a must-see act. Their gritty blues rock—iconic tracks like ‘Sharp Dressed Man’ and ‘La Grange’—continues to resonate with diehard fans and new listeners alike.
