You might be killing it, sure, but are you Netflix special killing it? We highly doubt it. But do you know who is? Aunty Donna. Australian’s own comedian galaxy brains have announced a forthcoming 6-part Netflix series set for release on November 11.

Those of us familiar with the bafflingly brilliant comedy stylings of Zach, Broden and Mark know all too well that it’s beyond our comprehension to theorise what the trio have in store for us, but judging by the trailer not only will they be returning with their trademark unpredictable hilarity, they’ll be doing so with some pretty big names including musician Weird Al Yankovic and fellow comedian Ed Helm. Helm is billed as an executive producer of the series, alongside other bigwigs including Mike Falbo and Brett Harris.

“Zach, Broden and Mark are the comedy group Aunty Donna.” The blurb reads, “When it comes to their house, you never know who might drop by for a whacky little adventure”.

It’s well known that Aunty Donna have penetrated the North American market, something many of their peers will never achieve, but it’s clear now with this special, world domination is on the horizon.

Since kicking in the doors of the Australian comedy scene in 2011, Aunty Donna have proven time and time again their uncanny ability to perfectly capture the universal humour in even the most mundane of places, say for example, Australian public school culture or mankindls propensity to fill up on cheese before a main course.

“Things might be looking kinda glum now, but they’ll be right as rain in no time,” reads a snippet in the trailer that strongly aligns with the beliefs of many an internet denizen that ‘Aunty Donna’s Big Ol’ House of Fun’ is the light at the end of the tunnel of this nightmare of a year.
