Former Jackass and Viva La Bam star Bam Margera has announced his return to Australia, plotting three east-coast shows dubbed An Evening with Bam Margera.
The tour, slated for November 2026, will mark Margera’s first Australian visit in 13 years. It will take in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The multimedia and spoken-word show will see Margera joined on-stage by longtime collaborator Joe Frantz, the director and cinematographer behind Viva La Bam who also worked with Margera on the second and third Jackass films.
In a press statement, Margera noted that he was “fucking stoked” to be returning to Australia – while also teasing that the show would feature previously-unseen footage from across his almost 30-year career.
“I’m gonna be telling some stories, and talking about some of the craziest shit from that whole time in my life,” he said.
“Having Joe with me makes it even better, because we’ve got a bunch of footage and stuff you guys have never seen. Skate demos, Viva La Bam stunts, touring with the bands, all the stupid shit we got ourselves into, and a bunch of stuff we filmed that never even made it onto TV. Can’t wait to see you guys down there. It’s gonna be fuckin’ wild.”
Margera visited Australia several times across the 2000s and 2010s as part of promotional campaigns for Jackass. This was documented in 2006, when the group were enlisted to make a music video for Wolfmother‘s ‘Joker and The Thief’.
His most recent visit came in 2013, as part of the Fuckface Unstoppable world tour, which saw him kicked out of hotel rooms in both Melbourne and Brisbane – the former over a phone charger dispute, and the latter due to Margera painting over the room’s installed artworks.
Although he remains estranged from the Jackass collective, he did agree to appear in archival footage used for Jackass: Best and Last, which came out in cinemas back in June.

- Tuesday, November 3rd – Brisbane, Powerhouse
- Wednesday, November 4th – Sydney, Factory Theatre
- Thursday, November 5th – Melbourne, Thornbury Theatre
A pre-sale for the tour will commence from 9am AEST on Wednesday, September 23rd. General sale will then follow at 9am AEST on Thursday, September 24th. Both can be accessed via the tour’s official promoter, TEG Live.
