Ho99o9 Join The Dillinger Escape Plan for Unmissable Australian Tour This August

Share

Genre-defying duo Ho99o9 are joining The Dillinger Escape Plan for a run of Aussie shows set to shake the foundations of heavy music.

They’ve spent over a decade rejecting the spotlight, but this August, Ho99o9 are stepping into it with full force. The industrial hardcore-punk-rap disruptors will hit Australian shores this August as the support acts for chaos merchants The Dillinger Escape Plan.

Known for their volatile, genre-breaking performances, Ho99o9 (pronounced Horror) have built a cult following by doing everything the industry tells artists not to do. No media blitz. No overexposure. No carefully curated social content. Just pure, unrelenting art and a live show that has become the stuff of underground legend.

Their refusal to conform has only made the world want more. And now, with a tour partner like The Dillinger Escape Plan – who are reuniting for their first Australian shows in years – Ho99o9 are poised to deliver one of the most combustible tours the country has seen in a long time.

The last time these two acts shared a stage, UK outlet The Chronicle wrote: “Only one band can, or indeed would dare, follow that incredibly powerful and volatile spectacle that was Ho99o9 live on stage. Fortunately for the audience tonight, that band is The Dillinger Escape Plan.”

Ho99o9 first caught global attention with a guerrilla performance at AfroPunk Brooklyn in 2012, and they’ve been annihilating boundaries ever since. Fusing industrial noise, hardcore, punk, hip hop, and pure mayhem, their sound is as unpredictable as their rise. They’ve shared staged with Slipknot (and collaborated on a track with Corey Taylor himself), Korn, Rob Zombie, and The Prodigy, and they’ve left their mark on stages from Hellfest and Rolling Loud to Reading & Leeds.

With a résumé that includes collaborations with Travis Barker, HEALTH, Ghostemane, and JPEGMAFIA, Ho99o9 aren’t just crossing genres, they’re torching the lines between them. Their music is a pressure cooker of rage, resistance, and raw expression. This tour with The Dillinger Escape Plan will be a masterclass in live volatility.
