AC/DC’s Australian tour is on sale today, but only hours after tickets went live, multiple extra shows have been added.
AC/DC’s Australian tour is expected to have “unprecedented” demand, according to a TEG rep – and fans are proving that in droves – the band has already added second Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane shows to their run to keep up with demand.
Tickets for Sydney’s November 21 Accor Stadium show went on sale at 9am AEST, and within the hour availability was running out. There’s now a second date at Accord Stadium on Tuesday, November 25. Tickets are on sale for this second show now – so if you were looking for a redemption round, Sydneysiders, get in fast.
A second Melbourne show has also been added – taking place at the ‘G on Sunday, 16 November – while an additional Brisbane date will take place at Suncorp Stadium on 18 December.
“Due to overwhelming demand, a second Sydney show has been added to AC/DC’s long-awaited POWER UP Australian Tour, with the band now set to play Friday 21 and Tuesday 25 November at Accor Stadium,” TEG’s statement reads.
AC/DC Australian tour tickets are going on sale at staggered local times per city, with the site of sale varying between Ticketek and Ticketmaster (will it stop both sites from breaking? Who knows).
