Watch Sleep Token Cover Bruce Springsteen’s Dancing In The Dark

Sleep Token frontman Vessel took to the stage in Philadelphia in Wednesday to perform a solo piano cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Dancing In The Dark.’

Sleep Token are no strangers to a cover song – they’ve covered Billie Eilish, Outkast, and Whitney Houston previously (two of these from their iconic the room below performance). Now, they’ve taken to the stage to cover another musical great: Bruce Springsteen.

At Sleep Token’s Philadelphia show at the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Wednesday evening (September 24), frontman Vessel performed a solo piano cover of Springsteen’s ‘Dancing In The Dark’.

Watch fan-filmed footage of the performance below:

Sleep Token are on a mega tour run of North America right now with Thornhill – their major performance last week at Louder Than Life festival drew in record-breaking crowds and saw over 20 thousand attendees add their set to their schedule (not accounting for the many tens of thousands who did not use the scheduling app and just rocked up).

Australians haven’t yet had a chance to catch Even In Arcadia live and in the flesh since the band’s newest album dropped in May, but the US is revelling in it. We can only hope we’ll get a tour announcement one of these days – after all, they’re supported by Aussie homegrown heroes in North America right now – and when we do, it’ll likely be an absolute sh*tfight to get tickets. So is the ways of being a Sleep Token fan, we guess.

Maybe Sleep Token could cover an Aussie classic act if they ever tour Australia again? Here’s hoping.
