TISM Add Second (And Final) Sydney Opera House Show After Rapid Sell Out

Share

TISM fans didn’t just want more, they demanded it, after selling out their first Sydney Opera House show in under two hours during fan pre-sale, the masked legends have announced a second and final performance for Sunday, April 12th 2026.

It’s shaping up to be one of the most absurdly glorious collisions of high art and lowbrow fun the Opera House has ever seen. Across two nights, Friday, April 10th (sold out) and Sunday, April 12th, the balaclava clad icons will perform their 1995 ARIA Award-winning album ‘Machiavelli and the Four Seasons’ in full. For fans who missed out the first time, this encore is a once in a lifetime shot at witnessing TISM’s unfiltered brilliance inside Australia’s most famous venue.

Emerging from the late ’80s underground, TISM carved a path through satire, dance, and punk fuelled absurdity to become one of Australia’s most elusive and influential acts. They’ve released seven studio albums, racked up millions of streams, and maintained total anonymity while poking sharp fun at the music industry and society itself.

Machiavelli and the Four Seasons

This album marked a creative turning point for the group, a perfect storm of mockery and melody that spent 72 weeks on the charts, hit number 8, and won Best Independent Release at the ARIAs. It also spawned triple j staples like ‘(He’ll Never Be An) Ol’ Man River’ and ‘Greg! The Stop Sign!!’, solidifying TISM as both cult heroes and chart invaders.

After a long hiatus, the band returned in 2022 for Good Things Festival and followed up with their Death To Art Tour in 2024, a tour that reaffirmed their unmatched live energy while celebrating their latest album ‘Death to Art’, their highest charting release since ‘Machiavelli’.

Tickets for TISM’s Opera House takeover go on sale tomorrow morning (November 13th) at 10am AEDT via davidroywilliams.com, and If history’s any indication, they won’t last long.
