Fans have spotted posters in Melbourne that seem to suggest A Day To Remember and Papa Roach are about to announce and joint tour.
Are A Day To Remember and Papa Roach about to drop a joint Aussie tour? It sure damn looks like it.
Keen-eyed fans have spotted posters in Melbourne with an interesting set of logos – an upside down cockroach and a very familiar eagle.
The posters were spotted by the.pop.cult on TikTok, and show two side by side with the word ‘Melbourne’ plastered across the top, the two logos, and a link to bigrocktour.com.
On heading to that link, users are taken to a Destroy All Lines presale and announcement signup page to “get the news first,” with those two very iconic symbols once again cropping up. It’s probable that these posters are going to be spotted around other cities in the coming days as fans start looking out for them.
There’s no indication of exactly when news will drop, but if posters are beginning to pop up around the country, it’s pretty likely we’ll be seeing some more info in the next week or two. Perhaps an announcement at Good Things Festival?
What we do know (with some pretty high confidence) for now is that the tour is likely called the Big Rock Tour and it’ll feature A Day To Remember and Papa Roach, and…that’s about it.
The naming does make sense in part, given ADTR’s drop of their newest album, Big Ole Album Vol. 1, earlier this year. Papa Roach on the other hand is currently on their Rise of the Roach 25th anniversary tour alongside Rise Against, so there’s plenty for both bands to celebrate and bring to Australia if this is all true.
Stay tuned for more updates as more information becomes available – we’ll be watching this one like hawks.
