Deftones Add Second Brisbane Show To 2026 Australia & NZ Tour As Demand Erupts

Share

Deftones are storming back into Australia and New Zealand in 2026, and the response has been nothing short of amazing. After nearly a decade away from our arenas, the Sacramento icons have triggered an instant rush from fans.

Selling out Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland dates already, promoters have confirmed a second Brisbane show on Thursday, May 7th, marking the final addition to the run.

The tour marks Deftones’ first headline arena visit to our side of the world in nearly ten years, known for balancing heavy, abrasive moments with spacious, melodic turns, the Sacramento band remain one of alternative rock’s most consistent live draws.

They’ll be joined by Interpol and Ecca Vandal, both strong fits for a bill built on atmosphere and sharp contrasts.

The runs kicks off in Sydney with back to back nights at Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd

Brisbane follows with the sold out Wednesday, May 6th show and the newly added Thursday, May 7th date.

Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena will host the band on Saturday, May 9th (sold out) and Sunday, May 10th, before the tour heads across the Tasman for a final, sold out night at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Wednesday, May 13th.

It’s been a long time since fans have had the chance to see Deftones deliver a full scale arena production across the region, and the early rush for tickets makes it clear the appetite hasn’t faded.

Adding Interpol’s brooding cool and Ecca Vandal’s energetic edge rounds out a strong, well matched lineup for an arena tour of this size.

Tickets for the second Brisbane date go on sale today at 11am local time, with so many shows already selling out, anyone keen to catch the band next May will need to move quickly.
