PlayStation has unveiled the Hyperpop Collection, with three new DualSense controller and console cover designs launching in March.
PlayStation has shared an early look at its latest hardware drop, announcing the Hyperpop Collection of DualSense wireless controllers and PS5 console covers. The range introduces three new colourways designed to stand out from the current PlayStation 5 lineup, leaning into high-contrast gradients and neon finishes rather than muted tones – perfect for those gamers sick of pastels, blacks and whites dominating the accessories space.
The Hyperpop Collection includes three designs: Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue. Each controller features a glossy black base that shifts into vibrant colour, giving the DualSense a more expressive, club-lit look than previous releases. There’s also matching PlayStation 5 face plates – although unfortunately, it doesn’t look like these will be hitting Aussie shoes, at least for the time being. In regions where the console covers are explicitly available, they’ll be in limited quantities.
According to PlayStation, the collection is built around the idea of players choosing their “track,” framing each colour as a different mood rather than just a cosmetic swap.

Design leads Leo Cardoso and Sae Kobayashi from PlayStation’s Colour, Material, and Finish team shared insight into the creative direction behind the collection. “We’re cranking the volume all the way up with a collection that doesn’t just stand out, it takes over the room. Inspired by the glow of the RGB lights of your impressive gaming setups, these new [colours] go LOUD in the best possible way,” said Cardoso.
