Brody King has never been subtle about where he stands, and he’s making it loud again.
God’s Hate frontman and AEW powerhouse Brody King has brought back his ‘Abolish ICE’ shirts, with proceeds being donated to the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee.
The move lands at a time when King’s politics are once again colliding with his visibility in the wrestling world, during a recent AEW taping, fans broke into a spontaneous ‘F**K ICE’ chant while King wrestled MJF in the main event.
It was raw, unscripted, and very on brand for someone who’s spent years blurring the lines between hardcore, activism, and combat sports (per Lambgoat).
King has long used his platform to speak openly about immigration, policing, and systemic power, this isn’t a rebrand or a one-off gesture. The ‘Abolish ICE’ shirts previously circulated years ago and became a clear extension of the same values that run through God’s Hate’s music, confrontational, uncompromising, and rooted in lived anger rather than aesthetics.
By directing proceeds to the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee, King is backing the statement with material support, the organisation works directly with immigrant communities through advocacy, education, and grassroots organising, making the donation more than symbolic merch activism.

In the metal and hardcore worlds, political messaging has always existed in the margins, what makes King’s position notable is the scale of his audience, and as AEW continues to grow, so does his reach, placing overt anti ICE messaging in front of viewers who might not encounter it through music alone.
That visibility comes with pushback, but King has never shown interest in softening his stance for mass appeal, if anything, moments like the crowd chant underline that his views resonate well beyond niche scenes.
Whether you know him from the pit or the ring, Brody King remains consistent in one thing, he doesn’t separate art, sport, and belief. The ‘Abolish ICE’ shirts are just the latest reminder that he’s willing to use every platform he has, and accept whatever noise comes with it.
