Slaughter To Prevail, Black Label Society, Crowbar and Malevolence will provide the music between the punchy punchy.
When he’s not fronting Russian deathcore outfit Slaughter To Prevail, Alex Terrible is a bare knuckle boxer. Everyone needs a hobby, I guess, but Terrible takes his punching pretty seriously – check out the clip from one of his 2025 matches below:
Brutal AF.
Seeking to combine his two great loves of heavy music and beating the living hell out of fellas, Terrible recently announced he was launching his own fighting promotion, Blood4Blood, in partnership with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and music festival promo company Danny Wimmer Presents. Billed as “a heavy metal concert with intersecting bare-knuckle fighting”, the inaugural event was not expected to occur until 2027.
Well, things can change pretty quickly, and now it’s been announced that the first Blood4Blood will take place on May 6 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, with music performances from Slaughter To Prevail, Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society, Crowbar, and Malevolence. The bands are expected to perform truncated three song sets in between bouts.
And speaking of bouts, Terrible is also on the card, taking on American knuckle exponent Cameron “The Bull” Delano in a match being billed as “the Russian Grizzly vs the American Cowboy”. Three more fights are also on the card, with combatants yet to be announced.
In a statement, Terrible said, “It is a big honour for me to finally bring Blood4Blood to life. From the beginning I wanted to create something that shows who I really am. Fighting and heavy music have always been my world, my passion, my lifestyle.
“To have the first Blood4Blood hosted by the biggest bare-knuckle promotion in the world and to work with the biggest live promoter in North America to build this event with me means a lot. We have four real fights and four powerful bands… I will step into the ring and on the stage. I give everything. This is my heart. This is Blood4Blood.”
Presumably, Terrible will be singing before he fights. Could be a bit awkward otherwise.
