A night dedicated to the Starman

Few artists cast a shadow as long as Bowie. From the glam explosion of ‘Ziggy Stardust’ to the sleek pop dominance of ‘Let’s Dance’, his catalogue stretches across generations, genres, and entire musical movements.

The upcoming Australian shows aim to capture that shape shifting legacy on stage, with three very different vocalists stepping into Bowie’s orbit (per press release):

Jeff Martin brings his powerful rock voice and theatrical delivery, Kav Temperley adds a melodic alternative edge, while iOTA’s flamboyant stage presence feels tailor made for Bowie’s more dramatic moments.

Together with a full band, the show will move through Bowie’s many eras, touching everything from glam rock and art rock to the slick pop and funk of his later years.

The Bowie catalogue on stage

The setlist leans heavily into the classics, ‘Heroes’, ‘Rebel Rebel’, ‘Changes’, and ‘Space Oddity’, alongside deeper cuts and fan staples that helped shape Bowie’s legend.

Setlist includes:
Ashes to Ashes
Blue Jean
Changes
China Girl
Fame
Fashion
Golden Years
Hang On to Yourself
Heroes
Jean Genie
John, I’m Only Dancing
Let’s Dance
Life on Mars?
Loving the Alien
Modern Love
Moonage Daydream
Rebel Rebel
Scary Monsters
Space Oddity
Starman
Suffragette City
The Man Who Sold the World
Under Pressure
Young Americans
Ziggy Stardust

For longtime fans, the show is less about imitation and more about celebrating the songs themselves, music that still echoes across rock, alternative, and pop decades after Bowie first sent it out into the world.
