Lamb Of God And Trivium Released Matching Australia Teases, It Looks Like A Co-Headline Tour Is Heading Our Way

Share

The Australian metal rumour mill kicked into overdrive today after both Lamb of God and Trivium posted the same cryptic teaser video across social media, hinting that something heavy is landing tomorrow morning.

The short clip, which was uploaded by both bands, features a dark tunnel like visual drenched in shadow and flickering orange light, ending with the words: ‘Tomorrow…. more’.

That alone would’ve been enough to get Australian metalheads sniffing around, but the timing makes this feel a whole lot less random.

Lamb of God are currently deep in the rollout cycle for their new album ‘Into Oblivion’, which was released in March, while Trivium have also been steadily ramping up activity online, the fact both bands shared the exact same teaser strongly points toward a co-headline Australian tour announcement, set for 9am tomorrow.

Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but the touring calendar lines up almost too neatly to ignore.

Late 2026?

At the moment, Lamb of God’s publicly announced dates stretch through Europe in August before a gap opens later in the year, Trivium also appear to have room in their schedule around the same window, making an Australian run in late 2026 look increasingly possible.

If it does happen, it would mark one of the biggest modern metal packages Australia has seen in years, Lamb of God haven’t toured Australia since their crushing run with Knotfest, while Trivium’s last local appearances proved there’s still a rabid appetite for Matt Heafy’s riff machine down here.

The pairing also makes sense stylistically, both bands helped define two different corners of 2000s heavy music, Lamb of God with their groove driven New Wave of American Heavy Metal assault, and Trivium bridging metalcore, thrash, and arena sized hooks.

Possible touring window

Based on currently announced international dates, a late October to December 2026 Australian run looks most realistic for Lamb of God, and for Australian fans, this feels less like a question of if and more a question of how big the announcement will be.

Blunt will keep an eye on things when the clock hits 9am tomorrow, head here for notification details.
