Static-X Pulls Remaining 2026 Tour Dates Over Serious Medical Issue

Share

Industrial metal icons Static-X have abruptly cancelled the remainder of their 2026 touring schedule, citing what the band described as “serious medical issues” affecting the camp.

The announcement landed via Static-X’s official social media channels, confirming that all scheduled performances for the rest of the year have been scrapped while an undisclosed member deals with an urgent health matter (per Metal Injection).

In a statement posted online, the band said:

“Due to serious medical issues, Static-X will be forced to cancel our remaining tour dates in 2026. The situation is unavoidable and requires immediate attention. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, and we promise to return to the stage, bigger, stronger and faster in 2027.

“We appreciate your continued love and support and look forward to seeing you all again very soon!

“Sincerely, Static-X”

No further details have been provided regarding which member is affected or the nature of the medical issue, the cancellation impacts a run of US dates that included appearances across Illinois, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota and Montana, support act Dope was also slated to appear on several of the affected shows.

No rescheduled dates

At this stage, no rescheduled dates have been announced, and ticket holders are being encouraged to check directly with venues and ticket providers for refund or event update information, the affected dates include appearances at major regional stops such as Rock Fest and the annual rally performances in Sturgis.

For fans, it’s a disappointing blow after the band’s recent momentum on the road, with the current iteration of Static-X continuing to draw strong support from longtime followers and newer metal audiences alike.

While the sudden cancellation raises questions, the band’s brief but direct statement suggests the matter is significant enough to require immediate attention.

For now, fans will have to wait until 2027 for the promised return, one the band says will come back “bigger, stronger and faster.”
