Limp Bizkit appear to be back in the studio, with fresh fan reports and new photos suggesting the band are once again working on new material.
The apparent return to recording comes during what members have described as the biggest period of popularity in the band’s career, with Limp Bizkit continuing to experience a major resurgence more than two decades after their commercial peak.
Recent studio photos have surfaced online showing the band working on music, following similar glimpses that emerged last year.
The group had previously indicated plans to begin work on their seventh studio album, but their increasingly busy touring schedule ultimately kept them focused on the road.
No signs of slowing down
Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland revealed in June that new songs were already being developed, giving fans the clearest indication yet that the long-awaited follow-up to 2021’s Still Sucks could finally be taking shape.
The timing also comes as the band prepares for another major Australian run.
Limp Bizkit will headline Good Things Festival 2026, appearing across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane from December 4th through December 6th. The festival will also feature Simple Plan, Spiritbox, Polaris, Bad Religion, Alexisonfire, Grinspoon, Millencolin, Ministry and a huge collection of international and Australian acts.
The Australian dates will follow a period of renewed activity for the band, who have become one of the more unlikely beneficiaries of the broader nu-metal revival.

Making moves
The resurgence has extended beyond the live stage. In June, Limp Bizkit launched their first dedicated official online merchandise store, Morning Boy UFO, introducing limited-edition drops while taking aim at the enormous bootleg merchandise market surrounding the band.
The group also released Making Love to Morgan Wallen last September, marking their most recent standalone single.

With new music reportedly taking shape, a major festival run ahead and the band operating at a level of popularity they believe is unprecedented, Limp Bizkit appear to be entering another significant chapter.
For a band whose career has already survived multiple eras of rock culture, the next one could be their most unexpected yet.
