beabadoobee Announces Huge Australian Arena Tour For March 2027

beabadoobee is heading back to Australia in March 2027, and this time she’s making the considerable jump into arenas.

The British-Filipino artist has announced three Australian dates as part of her sprawling The Powerlines Tour, hitting Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in support of forthcoming fourth album Pylon, which arrives September 18th via Dirty Hit/Interscope Records.

The run begins at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 15th before moving to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on March 18th and Sydney’s Afterpay Arena on March 20th.

It’s a sizeable step up from beabadoobee’s last Australian visit for Laneway Festival last year, that trip also produced a couple of memorable side moments, including joining Clairo for ‘Glue Song’ in Melbourne and taking Bic Runga’s ‘Sway’ into the triple j Like A Version studio.

Artist and PayPal presales begin Tuesday, September 8th at 10am local time, followed by promoter and Spotify presales on Wednesday, September 9th.

General tickets go on sale Thursday, September 10th at 10am local time via Handsome Tours.

A heavier beabadoobee is coming

The arena announcement lands just weeks out from Pylon, a 14-track record that appears set to push Beatrice Laus further into the distorted edges of her sound.

Named after the electricity towers Laus repeatedly encountered while touring, the album grew from feelings of isolation and disconnection from friends and family back home. What began as private diary entries eventually developed into songs wrestling with the repetitive anxieties of navigating your mid-twenties.

Musically, Laus has positioned this era as louder, grittier and considerably more abrasive than her previous material. Early singles ‘Sun Has Set’, ‘Switchblade’ and ‘Memories’ have already been tested live during recent appearances at Lollapalooza, Hinterland and Red Rocks.

Australian crowds can expect those new tracks alongside material spanning Fake It Flowers, Beatopia and 2024’s This Is How Tomorrow Moves, the latter becoming beabadoobee’s first UK number-one album and reaching number six in Australia.

The Australian dates form part of beabadoobee’s biggest touring cycle yet, with The Powerlines Tour also taking her through rooms including Madison Square Garden, The Kia Forum and London’s O2 Arena.
