System Of A Down have confirmed a Pasadena stadium show for June, with artist presale registration now open.

System Of A Down have confirmed a Rose Bowl concert for Saturday 5 June 2027, putting a date against all that Los Angeles teaser speculation. Australian fans, this would be a terrible time to open a flight comparison tab.

So naturally, we’ll give you a minute.

The Pasadena stadium show is now on the band’s official tour schedule, with Live Nation opening artist presale registration for the event, billed as Live At The Rose Bowl.

Pierce The Veil will join them as special guests, according to Knotfest’s announcement report. As far as excuses to turn a concert into an entire overseas holiday go, this bill is doing a frankly irresponsible amount of heavy lifting.

For Australian fans, there is already a rather large appointment with System in the diary before California enters the conversation. The band’s 2027 itinerary takes in Sydney’s Accor Stadium on 22 January, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on 27 January and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on 1 February.

Their official listing currently marks Melbourne and Brisbane as sold out, with waitlists available. Apparently, plenty of people have also decided that screaming along to System Of A Down qualifies as an essential household expense.

If the Rose Bowl is going on your list too, pay attention to the registration deadline. The band says sign-ups close at 9pm Pacific Time on Wednesday 21 October, which is 3pm AEDT on Thursday 22 October.

Already on the mailing list? Lovely. You still need to register separately for presale access, according to the band’s website. Inbox loyalty will only get you so far.

Live Nation says presale links will arrive on 22 October, ahead of the artist presale at 10am PDT on Friday 23 October. That translates to 4am AEDT on Saturday 24 October.

A truly offensive hour to be awake, admittedly. But if you’re seriously considering crossing the Pacific for System Of A Down, the alarm clock probably isn’t the part of this plan that needs explaining.
