Hard-Ons Announce 13-Date Australian Tour With Poison Idea’s Jerry A

Share

Jerry A will take lead vocals as the Hard-Ons head around Australia in March 2027, with club shows stretching from Woy Woy to Brisbane.

The Hard-Ons and Poison Idea’s Jerry A have announced 13 Australian shows for March 2027, taking their recent collaborative album from Woy Woy to Brisbane via six states and the ACT.

Their first recording together came out in 1993. Apparently, there was unfinished business.

As Cheersquad Records recounts, the bands first toured together in the late 1980s, before Jerry A co-wrote and sang ‘The Blade’ on the Hard-Ons’ Too Far Gone. Further touring and recording eventually produced August’s self-titled Hard-Ons / Jerry A album, with a 2025 US run alongside Napalm Death and the Melvins along the way.

For longtime fans, there is plenty of shared history behind it. For anyone arriving through the new album, there are 13 opportunities to find out what happens when the Hard-Ons put Jerry A out front.

The March itinerary takes in the capital cities alongside Margaret River, Geelong, Frankston and Newcastle, beginning at Woy Woy’s Link & Pin on March 4 and finishing at Brisbane’s The Brightside on March 21.
