Australian fans will have to wait longer for Chiodos’ first visit since 2015, with all five November shows cancelled so the band can finish their next record.
Chiodos have pulled the plug on their Australian anniversary tour, cancelling five November shows that would have brought them back for the first time in more than a decade.
The band were set to revisit All’s Well That Ends Well with Rain City Drive and The Beautiful Monument along for the run. Instead, they’ll spend the time finishing their next album.
In an Instagram Stories statement shared on Friday 30 October and reproduced by The Music, Chiodos cited a scheduling conflict and said completing the record properly was important to their plans for 2027 and beyond. Their Hawaii dates have also been cancelled.
The band acknowledged that fans had already made arrangements to attend and apologised, saying refunds would come through original points of purchase.
The cancelled Australian dates are:
- Saturday 21 November: The Tivoli, Brisbane
- Sunday 22 November: Metro Theatre, Sydney
- Wednesday 25 November: 170 Russell, Melbourne
- Thursday 26 November: The Gov, Adelaide
- Saturday 28 November: Magnet House, Perth
Refunds And VIP Bookings
For ticket holders, the information available depends on where they bought their tickets.
Ticketek has confirmed that Sydney purchases will be automatically refunded in full to the original payment method. Customers do not need to do anything, and the notice includes refundable ticket purchases and bar vouchers where relevant.
Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth are also marked cancelled on their ticketing pages, although those listings do not give refund timeframes.
Melbourne’s Moshtix page has yet to catch up. As of 2 November, it still carries the original event details, with general admission and VIP allocations listed as exhausted.
The published package terms direct ticket questions to the point of purchase and VIP inclusion enquiries to [email protected]. They do not spell out cancellation-refund arrangements for every package.
Chiodos say they are exploring options to return. For now, there are no replacement dates in the announcement.
