Oasis Thanks Aussie Fans As Tour Ends: ‘See You Again’

Oasis has thanked Aussie fans as their tour Down Under comes to an end, with a promise that sure sounds like they’ll be back on our shores again some time soon.

Oasis’ Aussie leg of their Live ’25 World Tour has officially come to an end after five massive shows across Melbourne and Sydney, and the Gallagher brothers have been singing the praises of fans Down Under.

Reportedly, a staggering combined total of 320,000 Aussies came to see the Brit legends over their three shows at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne and two at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

“Thanks for putting up with us. We know we were d**kheads sometimes,” Gallagher said to the crowd.

“Your support has put us back on the map. Respect! You’ve got a lovely fucking country. See you again.”

Oasis took Australia by storm over the 8 days they were here with groundbreaking numbers of punters showing out to catch their reunion live. And when I say groundbreaking, I mean literally – the seismic activity recorded during their performances in Melbourne was one for the books.

While the Aussie Oasis tour has mostly been a celebration of the band’s huge legacy, with wholesome singalongs on the walk out from stadiums and massive lines at fan stores across both Sydney and Melbourne, it’s not been without its hiccups.

A flare was set off by an attendee during their first night in Melbourne, with Liam Gallagher taking to social media the next morning to put them on blast. “To the massive C*** who launched that flare into the crowd last night at the gig in Melbourne you are 1 seriously f***ed up individual and you will get yours trust me.”

However, the flare wasn’t enough to kill the vibe for Oasis or the fans, it seems. Given the “see you again” message, it sounds like we could be in for another visit from the icons in the future – maybe with a bit less of a wait next time?
