Parkway Drive Announce 20-Track Sydney Opera House Live Album, Release ‘Prey’

HOME arrives on 4 December, capturing the band’s sold-out, orchestra-backed performance with guest appearances from Nooky and Jenna McDougall.

Parkway Drive are bringing their Sydney Opera House performance home, announcing the 20-track live album HOME – Live At The Sydney Opera House, set to be released on 4 December 2026.

The band’s official store confirms the release date and full tracklist, while an orchestral performance of ‘Prey’ is out now on their official YouTube channel.

Recorded at the Opera House’s Concert Hall on 9 June 2025, the sold-out, black-tie show paired Parkway’s catalogue with a full symphonic orchestra. The album preserves more than the band’s set: it opens with ‘Welcome To The Country’, with the album track credited to Matthew Doyle, before moving into ‘Home Is For The Heartless’.

Nooky’s appearance on ‘Shadow Boxing’ and Jenna McDougall’s contribution to ‘A Deathless Song’ also make the recording, with McDougall joining Parkway Drive for the latter song’s live debut.

As BLUNT’s firsthand review of the Opera House show reported, tracks including ‘Prey’ and ‘Carrion’ were reworked for the orchestral setting. This is a chance to revisit those arrangements alongside the night’s guests, rather than just another recording of the regular touring set.

Physical editions listed on Parkway’s store include 2CD and 3LP. The Banksia Gold pressing is a Parkway exclusive limited to 1,000 units. A Native Green edition, limited to 700 units, is also listed but is marked sold out at the time of writing.

The album follows the previously announced HOME feature documentary. As BLUNT reported when the trailer arrived, its Sydney world premiere takes place at the State Theatre on 10 November, with a Q&A featuring the full band.
