Two decades after Hey There Delilah became one of the most recognisable singalong tracks of the 2000s, Chicago pop-rock outfit Plain White T’s are officially heading back to Australia for a headline run this spring.
Multi-platinum band Plain White T’s have announced a four date national tour for October and November this year, marking their first Australian headline shows in more than ten years.
The run will take in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide, giving local fans a chance to revisit the songs that soundtracked a generation, while introducing them to a whole new audience that’s discovered the band more recently.

TikTok revival
The renewed attention comes as Hey There Delilah finds fresh momentum online, with the track gaining serious traction on TikTok and reaching younger listeners who weren’t around for its original release. That resurgence is now showing up beyond social feeds too, with the song making a surprise return to the ARIA Singles Chart at #87, twenty years after first landing.
The timing feels fitting, very few songs from the mid-2000s have maintained the kind of staying power that Hey There Delilah continues to enjoy, and this tour arrives as a celebration of that legacy as much as a live comeback.

Joining Plain White T’s across all dates will be Adelaide’s own Teenage Joans, the pop-punk duo are arriving in strong form following a UK headline run, appearances at Sound City and The Great Escape, and recent shows alongside Biffy Clyro and Hot Mulligan.
They’re also set to join the return of Violent Soho later this year, making them a fitting addition to what should be a nostalgia heavy but high energy tour. If the TikTok revival is anything to go by, expect these shows to bring together everyone from original fans to first-time listeners.
