Jack Osbourne has found himself at the centre of online criticism after attending UFC Freedom 250 at the White House and posting images from the event across social media.
The television personality and son of late Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne shared photos alongside his wife from Sunday’s (June 14) event, captioning the post: “Ultimate Date Night! UFC FREEDOM 250.”
The upload quickly sparked debate among followers, with some questioning the decision to attend and others drawing comparisons between the event and themes often associated with his father’s music.
Several comments referenced Black Sabbath’s anti-war anthem War Pigs, while others pointed back to Osbourne’s past comments suggesting public figures should avoid becoming overly political online (per Lamb Goat).

The event itself was already generating discussion before doors opened, held on the South Lawn of the White House as part of celebrations marking the United States’ 250th anniversary, UFC Freedom 250 was also tied to celebrations surrounding President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday.
Organisers reportedly welcomed around 4,300 guests, with additional crowds watching from The Ellipse, the event marked the first professional sporting showcase hosted on White House grounds.
Not everyone supported the idea
Critics questioned the use of federal property for a commercial sporting event, with legal action launched in an attempt to block proceedings. However, the challenge was unsuccessful after U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta declined to issue emergency relief ahead of the event.
While reactions online remain divided, Osbourne’s appearance has become one of the more talked about celebrity moments tied to the night, particularly given the ongoing conversations around musicians, public figures and whether attending politically adjacent events should be interpreted as endorsement.
For now, Jack Osbourne himself has not publicly responded to the criticism beyond the original post.
