Falling in Reverse drummer Luke Holland has issued a warning about AI catfishing scams using deepfakes of him to trick fans, just weeks after Ronnie Radke’s impersonator allegedly fooled Tommy Lee’s wife.
Just weeks after Ronnie Radke’s bizarre catfishing scandal involving Tommy Lee’s wife, Falling in Reverse drummer Luke Holland has come forward with his own AI-related horror story.
In a new Instagram reel, Holland revealed that deepfake videos and impersonator accounts are using his likeness to scam fans, and in some cases, exploit real-life tragedies.
“I’m seeing people lose their social media accounts, donate money, I’m seeing people fall in love with a fake version of that person,” Holland said. “This is really actually terrifying, and I just wanted to tell you guys that obviously it’s not me.”
One of the fake accounts reportedly left a comment on a post about Holland’s late friend, Daniel Williams – the former The Devil Wears Prada drummer who was killed in a plane crash earlier this month, alongside Sound Talent Group co-founder Dave Shapiro. “What a scumbag thing to do,” Holland added, visibly frustrated.
In the video, Holland walks fans through each of his verified social media pages to help people avoid falling for the fakes. “Please double check, verify these accounts, these people that you’re talking to,” he urged. “It’s getting really scary.”
This marks the second Falling in Reverse member tangled in an impersonation controversy this month. Radke recently accused a fake Snapchat account of tricking influencer Brittany Furlan into thinking she was in a multi-year relationship with him. Furlan reportedly showed up at Radke’s house, messaged his ex Saraya, and threatened him after refusing to believe she’d been duped. Radke claims, “You read that correctly. Tommy Lee’s wife allegedly fell in love with a Ronnie Radke impersonator on Snapchat.”
Furlan later denied the claims in a TikTok, alleging harassment from Radke and claiming she’d already sent him three cease and desists.
So far in 2025, Falling in Reverse have released a new song, hit chart milestones, and now… dealt with two catfishing incidents. Welcome to the future.
