Best known as Kevin Myers from the iconic American Pie films, Thomas Ian Nicholas is swapping movie sets for mosh pits as he returns to Australia this week.
This time, Nicholas is heading Down Under with a guitar in hand and a setlist packed with pop-punk nostalgia. His band, the aptly titled Thomas Nicholas Band, is headlining a string of shows under the banner of American Pie Emo Night.
In an exclusive chat with BLUNT, Nicholas peeled back the layers of both his Hollywood past and his musical hustle. Between reminiscing about chaotic on set moments and quoting Stifler’s infamous one liners, he spoke about jamming live with his son and the unhinged energy of his Emo Night shows, where classic emo anthems collide with the American Pie legacy. Think emo karaoke meets film nostalgia, fuelled by singalongs and throwback energy.
Fans can expect more than just a standard gig. Nicholas promises a night where American Pie memories fuse with pop-punk bangers and yes, audience participation is pretty much mandatory.
