AC/DC is in Brisbane for one last show at Suncorp Stadium. Here’s everything we know from set times, tickets, and more.
AC/DC officially kicked off their POWER UP Australian tour last month in Melbourne as part of their mega, month-long run of nine shows across the country. With between 3.5 and 4 million tickets sold on their current world tour so far, it’s been an absolutely massive run as they blaze across the country – and Brisbane is in for one last gig before the legends wrap up their victory lap of Australia.
We’ve rounded up everything you should know before attending their final Brisbane show, including the set times, setlist, how to get to Suncorp Stadium in amongst the chaos, and more – so let’s get into it.
AC/DC POWER UP Australian Tour Brisbane dates and location

AC/DC will play at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday, 16 December – having already played one Brisbane show on Sunday, 14 December. They’ll be supported by Amyl and the Sniffers and Headsend.
AC/DC Brisbane set times
According to the official Suncorp Stadium site, the AC/DC Brisbane set times are as follows:
- Gates Open: 5:00pm
- Headsend: 5:40pm
- Amyl & The Sniffers: 6:30pm
- AC/DC: 8:00pm
- Stadium Curfew: 10:30pm
It’s not clear exactly how long the set will run for, but expect anywhere from 1.5-2 hours worth of Acca Dacca when it’s all said and done.

How to get to the AC/DC Brisbane show

TransLink is strongly recommending those attending AC/DC’s Brisbane show leave the car at home and take public transport in. If you do need to drive in, be warned that parking restrictions will apply in the local Lang Park Traffic Area surrounding the Stadium and on-the-spot fines will be issued to offending motorists.
Those taking Uber, taxi, or other ride share options should keep in mind that due to high demand, the wait to get out of Suncorp Stadium and into a car may be a long one. No ride share drop-offs or pickups are permitted near the venue, unfortunately. The traffic leaving and arriving is also bound to be pretty horrific, so plan to arrive early and expect delays on the way out – the same goes for any means of getting in, as getting into the stadium will likely take some time due to the sheer amount of attendees and the distance you’ll likely have to walk from the car – whether you drive in or get dropped off.
TransLink has also issued an update for those taking public transport. Your ticket includes travel on all Translink services from 12pm on the day of AC/DC’s gig and wraps up four hours after the event ends. Simply show your event ticket to the driver or inspector if asked.
You can plan your journey and see a full guide to getting there and back here. Suncorp Stadium is close to Milton Station (500m away via a pedestrian walkway to Southern Plaza), Roma St Station and Roma St busway station (1.14km away). There’s also bus stops on Caxton Street, Given Terrace and Milton Road. There’s no details just yet on site of what extra services will be running.
There are also special event shuttles, which will commence from 4:30pm. The shuttles will run to Suncorp Stadium from Brisbane City (Ann Street Stop 7 and Stop 12) and Suburban Hubs (Carindale, Chermside, Eight Mile Plains, and The Gap). They’ll run from the show for one hour after everything wraps up – you can check the site for the locations to jump on and more info on timing.

AC/DC Merch: Where to buy

Following the route of Metallica and Oasis, AC/DC has an official merch pop-up store open from 13 December until 18 December. It’s located at Warehouse 25, 25 Finchley Street, Milton. According to the official AC/DC tour site, it’ll be host to “legendary tour props” like the tour cannon and Hells Bell, and have exclusive merch including limited-edition vinyl “you won’t find anywhere else.”
Here’s the opening hours for the rest of its run.
- Dec 17: 12 PM – 10 PM
- Dec 18 (AC/DC Showday): 11 AM – 5 PM
There’ll of course be merch available at Suncorp Stadium for those wanting to grab something on their way in to the show, but it’ll likely be snapped up quick with some pretty hectic lines – so if you don’t want to miss out on a good spot or miss any of the show, it might be worth ducking down to the pop-up. This is the last stop on AC/DC’s run and the final popup and opportunity to cop merch though, so don’t dilly dally if you’re keen to grab something (or have a mate in another state that’s dying to grab something they missed out on when it was their turn).
