Good Things Festival Confirms Return In 2026

Share

Good Things Festival has confirmed it will return in 2026 in an email to attendees, just weeks after the 2025 run wrapped up.

It looks like Good Things will be return in 2026, with organisers confirming the festival will “be back” next year in an email to attendees and an Instagram post.

In the email (as per The Music), the Good Things team thanked attendees for supporting the festival and making the weekend what it was, and said they “look forward” to fans coming through the hallowed gates of the event again in 2026.

“What an amazing weekend of events that was! We are so happy to have been able to deliver another year of Good Things to the best music community in Australia, hands down.”

“Thank you for being a part of the extended GT family, and for supporting live music….We will be back in 2026 and look forward to welcoming you again next year!”

In a seperate post to Instagram after Good Things Festival Brisbane wrapped up, they wrote: “See you in 2026, right? We’re counting the days already.”

The 2025 run wrapped up on December 7 in Brisbane after kicking off in Melbourne two days earlier (with Sydney getting the middle child treatment on the 6th for a sweltering day of music). TOOL headlined alongside acts including Lorna Shore, Garbage, Weezer, and Machine Head.

In our review of the opening Melbourne date, we called Good Things a “beacon of hope in a bleak time for festivals” in Australia, with fans turning out in droves to support one of the alternative and heavy music community’s favourite events of the year.

While there’s no confirmation of exactly what dates to expect from Good Things 2026 (and we wouldn’t expect to see these for some time, based on previous years), punters can begin the countdown for another huge day of music (likely) sometime in December next year.
