Thor Prepares For War In The Latest Avengers: Doomsday Teaser

The Avengers will still have their God of Thunder when Doctor Doom comes a-calling next year.

Now, you would think that a guy that can command lightning wouldn’t have much trouble with a guy whose main schtick is wearing full plate armour, right? That seems like an easy item to tick off the To Do list. But no, our favourite Asgardian (well, second favourite… possibly third) has a kid now, so the thought of going back into the fray with the Avengers finds him a bit troubled by the prospect. What’s the plot?

Who can say? Doctor Doom invades, and the Avengers assemble. Along with everyone else in the MCU they could get in front of a greenscreen for a couple of days. At a guess, Doom is after everyone’s kids, which would certainly motivate many retired heroes to squeeze into their costumes again.

Who’s in it?

Oh, look, pretty much everyone. Almost everyone’s an Avenger these days, but let’s try and break it up by sub-franchise, shall we? In a rough sort of way, so don’t @ me. Strap in:

Avengers: Doomsday hits cinemas on December 17, 2026. Bit of time to go, then.
