Lorna Shore Release ‘In Darkness’ Video As Slaughter To Prevail’s Alex Terrible Suggests Tour

Share

Lorna Shore have unleashed the official music video for ‘In Darkness’, and it’s kind of bleak, cinematic and feels like it was made for anyone who grew up on the outside of the room, watching the world through the crack in the door.

The track is pulled from their latest album ‘I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me’, with the new clip directed by David Brodsky.

Via Lambgoat vocalist Will Ramos says the song hits close to home, digging into that familiar metalhead cocktail of isolation and anxiety:

“’In Darkness’ is about growing up feeling distant from everyone- a song about anxiety and being an outcast (as many of us metal fans grow from). It’s a song about embracing that outlandish and ostracized feeling. Knowing that we have grown in the shadows, the darkness- of the world, but accepting that through that darkness we have become.”

Ramos’ delivery on ‘In Darkness’ whole delivery feels like a reminder that heavy music has always been a refuge for the kids who never fit the mould, check it out below.

Hitting the road

Lorna Shore have also announced dates for their upcoming North American headlining tour, featuring Paleface Swiss and Signs of the Swarm, it’s a stacked bill that should leave venues looking like they’ve been hit by a storm.

While Lorna Shore are busy locking in their own run, another name has thrown his hat into the ring for a future tour, Slaughter To Prevail frontman Alex Terrible.

Terrible has posted a video publicly asking Lorna Shore to consider touring with his band, claiming it’s a combo their fans constantly push for, he also said Lorna Shore are currently the bigger band, meaning they’d deserve the headline spot if it ever happened

Lorna Shore and Slaughter To Prevail sharing a tour package would be violent in the best way, it doesn’t sound like anything’s locked in yet, but the idea alone is enough to get deathcore brains spinning.
