Warwick Thornton will be fielding questions around the country when Wolfram drops in April.
Kaytetye director Warwick Thornton and cast members including Deborah Mailman will be embarking on a nation-wide Q&A tour on the wide release of his latest film, Wolfram.
Set on the colonial frontier of the 1930s, Wolfram sees Thornton returning to the world of his acclaimed 2017 meat pie western, Sweet Country. Set four years after the events of that film, Wolfram follows three Indigenous siblings who escape slavery at a tungsten mine, only to be pursued by two outlaws.
Thornton an company will be kicking off their tour in Darwin on April 8, but before we get to that, let’s take a look at the brand new trailer:

What’s the plot?
As the official synopsis tells us:
1930s Australia, the colonial frontier. Two swaggering outlaws roll into a mining town and unleash a wave of cruelty, leading three kids to break free from their white masters and set off across the “sweet country” of central Australia in search of a safe home.
