Jackass: Best And Last trailer has landed, and it’s exactly the kind of unhinged send off you’d expect from a crew that’s spent 25 years turning pain into entertainment.
This is being framed as the final chapter, and judging by the footage, they’re not easing out quietly, take a look below:
One Last Round Of Damage
The trailer (above) first shown at CinemaCon, throws you straight back into the chaos, there’s no reinvention here, just escalation, the kind that probably shouldn’t exist in 2026, but somehow still does.
Among the highlights? A robotic arm giving Steve-O a prostate exam, an electric shock collar strapped somewhere it absolutely shouldn’t be, and what’s being described as an ‘escape room from hell’ involving an electric chair. Yep, it’s that level.
Johnny Knoxville, now 55, is still front and centre, somehow intact enough to keep going, when asked how he feels about wrapping up the franchise, his answer is simple (per Hollywood Reporter) .
“Um, I’m sad.”
Chris Pontius cuts through that quickly.
“I’m not in touch with my emotions.”
Then Knoxville lands the line that pretty much sums up the entire thing:
“Twenty five years and we haven’t learned a thing.”
The End Of An Era
‘Best And Last’ follows 2022’s ‘Jackass Forever’, a film that already felt like a miracle considering the damage these guys have stacked up over the years, Knoxville alone ended up hospitalised with multiple broken bones after a bull stunt went sideways.
This final instalment brings back the lineup: Steve-O, Ehren McGhehey, Preston Lacy, Dave England, Wee Man and Pontius, alongside newer faces like Rachel Wolfson and Jasper Dolphin.
It’s less about evolution and more about closing the loop on something that probably shouldn’t have lasted this long, but somehow did.
Release Date Locked
‘Jackass: Best And Last’ hits cinemas June 25th in Australia and June 26th in the US, whether it actually feels like a farewell is another question, this crew have a habit of crawling back for one more hit.
