Could Limp Bizkit Be Headed Back To Good Things? The Signs Are Starting To Stack Up

Share

Limp Bizkit haven’t been announced for Good Things 2026 yet. However a newly announced Asian tour date has made them one of the strongest contenders yet.

Limp Bizkit have just announced their first-ever Malaysian headline show, and the timing has already sparked speculation that Fred Durst and co. could be heading back to Australia for Good Things Festival 2026.

The nu-metal icons are scheduled to perform in Kuala Lumpur on December 9, just three days after Good Things wraps in Brisbane on December 6. On its own, that’s hardly confirmation. But when viewed alongside the band’s touring history and the current festival calendar, it creates an intriguing picture.

Limp Bizkit last visited Australia for Good Things Festival 2023, where they were one of the weekend’s biggest drawcards alongside Fall Out Boy and Devo before playing additional headline shows in Brisbane and Melbourne.

This time around, the routing again appears unusually convenient.

With Good Things taking place across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane from December 4–6, a flight to Malaysia for a December 9 performance fits comfortably into the schedule. The band is also due to perform in Johannesburg on December 13, making an Australia-to-Malaysia-to-South Africa route entirely plausible from a touring perspective.

There are currently no announced tour dates that would obviously rule out an Australian appearance during that window.

Fan speculation has also begun gathering pace online, with several Australian music forums tipping Limp Bizkit as a strong contender for this year’s lineup. Blunt also came across claims that the band interacted with Good Things’ recent social media announcement, however we were unable to independently verify those reports and have not factored them into our assessment.

Of course, there are reasons for caution.

Good Things is yet to announce a single artist for its 2026 lineup, and there has been no official indication from the festival, Destroy All Lines or the band that an Australian return is locked in.

At this stage, the available evidence points to possibility rather than certainty.
