Kelly Osbourne is reportedly settling into a ‘happier place’ following her split from Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson, with her brother Jack Osbourne offering an update after a turbulent few months for the former couple.
Speaking with The Sun (per Music-News), Jack said his sister has shifted her attention towards raising her three year old son Sidney and building some stability around their lives.
‘She’s in a happier place and she’s got a good routine going. She’s focusing on her and her son,’ Jack said, adding that Kelly is ‘living her country life, and she’s just doing her thing, being a mum’.
Kelly and Wilson reportedly separated in March after four years together, with reports at the time claiming they had called off their engagement.
Their history stretches back considerably further, the pair initially met in 1999 through Ozzfest, where Slipknot were performing, before eventually beginning a relationship decades later.
Wilson proposed backstage at Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s farewell show at Villa Park in Birmingham last July.
Kelly Osbourne’s pointed posts
Jack’s update follows a considerably more heated glimpse into Kelly’s life earlier this month.
As previously reported, Osbourne shared several Instagram Stories that appeared to be directed towards Wilson, although she did not explicitly name him.
‘Wake the fk up and take some responsibility. I will not take your st anymore! I’m done,’ she wrote in one subsequently deleted post.
‘I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. Let me heal. I can’t protect you from yourself anymore.’
Another message appeared to raise questions surrounding possessions and financial support.
‘Also while I’m at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions? Oh yeah and maybe some child support?’
Those posts arrived amid separate reports claiming Wilson had been removed from Slipknot, which was later confirmed (on August 15th) with a statement that was only online briefly before the band took it down.

For now, Jack‘s comments provide a less combustible update on Kelly‘s situation.
After a period encompassing the end of her engagement, public speculation surrounding Wilson and the death of her father Ozzy Osbourne last July, the emphasis appears to have shifted away from the noise.
According to Jack, Kelly is concentrating on something considerably more immediate: herself and her son.
