STARSET have kicked open the door to their next era with ‘p a r a d 0 x 1 c’, a dark new single that pushes the Ohio outfit further into the electronic side of their cinematic rock sound.
The track arrives alongside a new music video and finds STARSET playing with the collision that has defined much of their career: towering guitars rubbing against synths, electronic production and the sci-fi world building that surrounds virtually everything the band does.
This time, though, the electronics sit noticeably closer to the surface.
‘p a r a d 0 x 1 c’ builds around a pulsing synth foundation before opening into the heavier guitars and oversized hooks STARSET have spent more than a decade refining, there’s still plenty of weight underneath it, but the track feels more nocturnal than outright aggressive.
More importantly, it’s being positioned as the beginning of something new rather than an isolated release.

STARSET Are Heading Back On The Road
The new single lands as STARSET prepare for a sizeable North American tour alongside Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle and Kami Kehoe throughout September and October.
The run begins in Camden, New Jersey on September 2nd and stretches through late October, with STARSET also appearing at major festivals including Louder Than Life and Aftershock along the way.
It continues a considerable rise for the Columbus band since their formation in 2013.
STARSET have now accumulated close to five billion streams globally, including more than 1.7 billion through Spotify, while earning multiple Gold and Platinum certifications. ‘My Demons’ remains the obvious gateway track, but the band’s ability to build an entire visual and narrative universe around its music has helped turn STARSET into something far more elaborate than another modern rock act with a stack of riffs.
Their live ‘Demonstrations’ have always leaned into that idea, blurring conventional rock shows with costumes, cinematic production and science-fiction storytelling.
‘p a r a d 0 x 1 c’ suggests that world is about to expand again.
There’s no accompanying album announcement just yet, but with STARSET explicitly presenting the single as the beginning of their newest era, it feels less like a standalone transmission and more like the first piece of whatever they’re constructing next.
