Battlefield 6 is set to receive its first round of post-launch content, which will include the new 4v4 mode ‘Strikepoint’, a new suburban-themed map and an additional Sabotage mode. The update will also add a few more weapons to players’ arsenals.
Battlefield 6 has had an explosive launch, scratching that massive multiplayer first-person shooter itch for many. In the weeks following its release, the game has broken player count records for the franchise and has retained a solidly consistent number of players as well.
Now, almost a month since launch, the acclaimed shooter is set to receive its first round of free post-launch content, bringing with it a slew of new game modes, weapons and maps to play around in.
The new season is set to launch on October 28, and will run all the way through to December 9. The content of the patch will be dropped in three parts over the season, letting players digest the new content without feeling too overwhelmed.
So, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of everything to come this patch cycle.
Everything coming in Battlefield 6 Season One

Kicking the season off, Battlefield 6 will receive all new Rogue Ops next week, which will include the new map Blackwell Fields, a massive map tailor-made for the chaotic shooting galleries games turn into. But if you’re looking for something on the smaller side, the season will also be dropping a new 4v4 game mode called Strikepoint.
The next round of content, dubbed ‘California Resistance’, will drop only two weeks later on November 18. This patch will include a new map set in the suburbs of Southern California called Eastwood and yet another new mode called Sabotage, where players must destroy as many sites as possible before the round ends.
Battlefield 6 will drop its third and final round of content for Season One on December 9. The Winter Offensive patch comes packed with special seasonal-themed content and will bring a new chilly theme to Empire State.
Players will also be able to get their hands on new weapons, which will drop in the Rogue Ops patch. These include the SOR-300C – Carbine, Mini Fix – Sniper Rifle, GGH-22 – Sidearm, Traverser Mk. 2 – APC vehicle and a slew of new attachments to customise your loadouts with.
The Battlefield 6 team have repeated their commitment to release new content for the game consistently, and will continue to add new apps, modes, weapons and more to the game well into 2026.
