Papa Roach Release Explosive ‘See U In Hell’ Video With Hanumankind

Papa Roach are leaning even harder into the chaos of the ‘Devil May Cry’ universe, officially dropping a brand new live action music video for their Hanumankind collaboration, ‘See U In Hell’.

The track, which was created for season two of Netflix’s animated adaptation of ‘Devil May Cry’, now arrives with a darker and more cinematic visual treatment after the band previously released a version packed with footage from the series itself.

For longtime fans, the crossover makes a strange amount of sense, Papa Roach built their legacy during the peak of the nü-metal explosion, and ‘Devil May Cry’ has always thrived on over the top violence, demons, gothic imagery and pure attitude, pairing the two feels less like a calculated brand move and more like two worlds naturally colliding.

The addition of Indian rapper Hanumankind also gives the track a sharper edge, rather than simply revisiting early 2000s nostalgia, the collaboration pushes the song into a more modern space, blending Papa Roach’s aggressive hooks with Hanumankind’s intense delivery.

It also continues the band’s growing relationship with the franchise, the first season of Netflix’s ‘Devil May Cry’ adaptation previously featured a remix of Papa Roach’s breakout anthem ‘Last Resort’, tapping directly into the wave of nostalgia currently fuelling anime soundtracks and gaming culture alike.

That trend has only become more obvious in recent years, with heavier rock and metal acts finding renewed relevance through anime, streaming platforms and gaming tie ins, instead of chasing radio trends, bands like Papa Roach are reconnecting with audiences through worlds where dramatic, high energy music still feels essential.

Outside of ‘See U In Hell’, the soundtrack includes several other nü-metal staples, many of them appearing in remixed form, whether the track becomes a long term fan favourite or simply another chapter in Papa Roach’s long running evolution, one thing is clear, the band has absolutely no signs of slowing down.
