Machine Gun Kelly has announced a headline tour for Australia and New Zealand and will be hitting our shores in April next year.
After weeks of teasing, Machine Gun Kelly has announced an Australian and New Zealand tour for April next year.
The former rapper turned pop-rocker has booked arena shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland.
Machine Gun Kelly will be touring in support of his new album, Lost Americana, which was released in August this year.
The upcoming tour will also be the first time in over seven years since Machine Gun Kelly played in Australia. The artist toured the country in 2018 as part of his The 27 Tour, and would play in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Since then, the artist has only grown in notoriety, following a genre change into pop-rock with 2020’s Tickets to My Downfall. The album signalled the start of Kelly’s working relationship with Blink-182’s Travis Barker, and would earn Billboard‘s Top Rock Album 2021 award of the Year award.

Machine Gun Kelly is fresh off releasing his seventh studio album, Lost Americana, which the artist described as “a love letter for those seeking to rediscover”. After reinventing himself from a gritty Cleveland rapper to a pop-punk icon, Kelly moved in a different direction for his new record, drawing inspiration from Bruce Springsteen, The Strokes, and James Dean. The album would debut in the top five on Billboard‘s 200.
