Florida metalcore heavyweights Wage War have upgraded their Melbourne show this August following overwhelming demand, with Brisbane and Sydney also rapidly approaching sell out status.
The band’s upcoming Australian headline run is part of their global It Calls Me By Name tour and will see them return to local stages after their appearance at Knotfest Australia in 2024. Originally scheduled for a smaller Melbourne venue, the Victorian show on August 2nd has now been moved to the iconic Forum to accommodate growing demand from Australian fans.

Wage War Australian Tour 2026 with Special Guests Orthodox (USA) and Heavensgate
- Thursday, July 30 – Perth, WA – Freo Social
- Saturday, August 1 – Adelaide, SA – The Gov
- Sunday, August 2 – Melbourne, VIC – Forum (Venue Upgrade)
- Thursday, August 6 – Brisbane, QLD – The Tivoli (Selling Fast)
- Friday, August 7 – Sydney, NSW – Metro Theatre (Selling Fast)
Tickets available now via Destroy All Lines.
Joining Wage War on the tour will be Kentucky metalcore outfit Orthodox and Australian heavy hitters Heavensgate, making for one of the most stacked heavy line-ups to hit the country this winter.
The tour arrives alongside Wage War’s newly released EP It Calls Me By Name, a collection of tracks inspired by the band’s Florida roots and the untamed energy of the environment that shaped them. The release follows 2024’s Stigma, which continued the band’s evolution while showcasing the blend of crushing breakdowns, melodic hooks and emotionally charged songwriting that has become their trademark.

Since forming in 2010, Wage War have grown into one of modern metalcore’s most successful acts. Across five studio albums, the band has amassed a global following and earned widespread acclaim for balancing aggressive heaviness with mainstream accessibility. Their single MAGNETIC also topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, marking a major milestone in the band’s career.
Their live reputation has only strengthened over the years, with tours alongside Slipknot, Parkway Drive, Architects, Papa Roach and A Day To Remember helping establish them as one of the genre’s premier live acts.
With the Melbourne venue now upgraded and remaining tickets for Brisbane and Sydney moving quickly, fans considering attending are being encouraged to secure tickets before the final allocation disappears.
