TSIM Reveal What Their ‘No Mistakes Tour’ Promise Actually Means

TSIM have finally put some detail behind their promise of radically different shows on the upcoming No Mistakes Tour, confirming they’ve prepared two distinct performances featuring different songs, costumes and “totally different vibes”.

When we last covered the tour in July, TSIM were promising that no two shows would be the same, with radically different selections from their catalogue planned across the run.

They subsequently attempted to backtrack on that claim, joking that the difference would actually be limited to the font used on their printed setlists.

Now, with the tour beginning in Hobart on October 1st, management has apparently convinced the band to reveal a little more.

There will be two different shows on the No Mistakes Tour. TSIM still aren’t revealing which version will appear on which night, but both will reach deep into the catalogue, including songs many fans won’t have seen performed live and some the band hasn’t played in 40 years.

The shows will also differ from TSIM’s recent standalone festival appearances in Adelaide and Darwin.

That means audiences apparently don’t need to prepare for giant cardboard skulls being hurled into the crowd. The possibility of Les or Ron launching themselves into the moshpit, however, remains.

There could even be a third variation.

With TSIM now playing three nights at Melbourne’s Forum, the band is looking at presenting an exclusive third show on October 10th, with management searching its costume archives for something suitable.

The tour has also expanded again, with Hobart and Wollongong joining the itinerary alongside the previously added Melbourne and Adelaide shows.
