Jack Kays Announces 2027 Australian Tour Ahead of New Album

Jack Kays will return to Australia in January with Willowake, less than a year after supporting Pierce The Veil across the country.

Jack Kays is heading back to Australia, with the Cincinnati singer-songwriter locking in a five-date headline tour for January 2027.

The Jack Kays And His Band World Tour will hit Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane before heading across the Tasman to Auckland, with South Bay alternative rock trio Willowake joining Kays for the Australian dates.

The run comes less than a year after Kays opened for Pierce The Veil alongside Movements on the Australian leg of the I Can’t Hear You World Tour.

Now, he’s back in the driver’s seat for another Australian headline tour.

Kays made his Australian headline debut in January 2025 with shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The 2027 run expands that footprint to five Australian capitals, giving fans who caught him in support mode earlier this year a chance to see the full-band show properly stretch out.

The return neatly coincides with a fresh album arriving this week.

His new album, Call It What You Want, arrives this Friday, 2 October, the same day tickets for the Australian tour go on general sale. The record follows recent singles ‘To Be American’, ‘I’ve Got A Gun’ and ‘Mirror’.

Those releases have appeared through Jack’s Jams, distributed by Stem, following Kays’ previous work through Columbia Records.

Kays has never been especially interested in sticking to one genre, with punk, alternative, folk and hip-hop all finding their way into his sound. That made his spot alongside Pierce The Veil earlier this year feel like a natural fit.

For BLUNT readers who caught that tour, the upcoming January shows offer a fairly straightforward proposition: same artist, bigger spotlight, new record and a full headline set.

Support comes from Willowake, the South Bay trio made up of Jr Polanco, Gavin Alvarado and Dax Corcoran. The band came up through California’s backyard-show circuit and released debut EP An Alter Ego in 2024, with ‘I See Ghosts’ later picking up support from Los Angeles alternative station KROQ.

The artist presale is already underway, having opened at 10am today, Wednesday 30 September.

The Live Nation presale begins at 10am Thursday, 1 October, with general tickets on sale from 10am Friday, 2 October. All times are local.
