Some bands fade into nostalgia, others disappear, then come back swinging like they’ve got something to prove.
Saosin fall firmly into the second camp, and their first new music in over a decade makes that clear, the post-hardcore staples have released ‘Starting Over Again’, marking their first release in more than ten years and their first since reuniting with vocalist Cove Reber.
It’s not a soft re-entry, the track leans into everything that made Saosin hit in the first place, soaring hooks, tight, technical guitars, and that emotional urgency that always sat just under the surface.
“‘Starting Over Again’ is our first new music in over a decade, and it came from the fans calling for it and us realizing the timing finally felt right. The chemistry in this lineup is undeniable, and everything just clicked,” the band shares.
“This song is exactly what the title says. A reset, but with more clarity, more urgency, and way more fire behind it. It feels like the start of something big for us, not a throwback, but a step forward.”

New era, new label
Alongside the single, Saosin have signed to Sumerian Records, landing on a roster that includes Bad Omens and Poppy, it’s a move that signals intent, not just a reunion run, but something more sustained.
The track also marks a deeper creative shift, Guitarists Beau Burchell and Phil Sgrosso handled production and mixing, keeping everything in house and giving the band full control over how this new chapter sounds.
Australia gets it first
It’s perfect timing for local fans, the band are heading to Australia this month, bringing the new track alongside the catalogue that built their reputation, with Senses Fail and Fallweather on support, this run is one not to be missed.
